About Us
How We're Helping
We are a grass roots trans lead community-based organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our clients, volunteers, & staff. We are proud to announce, The 5th Annual Help The Homeless NY Walk.
Ways To Participate
Form a Team and Register to Walk Away Homelessness in New York. Your compassionate heart hates to see people suffering. So recruit your friends, family, coworkers, support group, ballroom house, scout troop, church choir, Sunday school class, organization or your school team! If you Register 7 team members, & raise $50 each, you've provided $350 for a week's worth of safe adequate housing in New York and support for 1 person. Show up with 30 people on your team, raise $50 each, that's $1,500 and you've given someone a home, counseling, and care for an entire month!
Volunteer
Good, upstanding New Yorkers donating their time and effort are KEY to a successful event of this magnitude. Help The Homeless NY is looking for volunteers on the day of the walk, and to help make preparations prior to the event.
